Do you have experience of running successful events? Are you able to multi-task and work on projects alongside internal and external stakeholders to achieve objectives in marketing, recruitment, and communications?

If so, we would welcome your application to the role of Marketing and Events Administrator within the Marketing, Recruitment and Engagement team at Kent Business School. In this role you support marketing and recruitment events across the Division, appealing to a variety of different audiences, as well as key events in areas such as research and student experience.

The workload will be diverse and your ability to deal with changing priorities will be key, as will your ability to influence and build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders alike.

As Marketing and Events Administrator you will be working closely with the Marketing and Recruitment Officer, and wider Marketing, Recruitment and Engagement team to coordinate and deliver events across the student recruitment cycle. You will help maintain the social media channels alongside the Communications Officer and Content Creator, by staying up to date with innovations and emerging trends which appeal to a variety of audiences.

To be successful in this role you will need to be a multitasker with experience in running events and an understanding of marketing and recruitment in higher education. You will have the ability to work collaboratively to ensure events run smoothly and marketing collateral is on brand and meets the needs of the audience. You will have the ability to work to tight deadlines and demonstrate experience of organising events and using social media (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok) for business purposes.
