We are seeking a Student Money Advice Manager for our Student Experience Department at the University of Surrey.
This role will involve managing a team of 3 FT Money Advisors and delivering specialist information and guidance to students on financial and funding matters.
This role requires an enthusiastic, self- motivated individual that can multi- task, with the ability to work effectively under pressure. Experience of Money Support in Higher Education, as well as working with and implementing policies and regulations is essential.
The Student Money Advice Manager will be expected to undertake specialist and complex casework, in addition to supporting and training their team. The role will additionally require guiding and supporting staff on financial matters that affect students. The Student Advice Manager will also be expected to implement and create an effective plan to raise the profile of the Student Money Advice team and increase awareness around student related money issues across the University.
This role is expected to contribute to the provision of a professional and specialist advice and guidance service to all students, to encourage their academic progress and student retention.
