An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Communications Manager to join UEA’s Admissions, Recruitment and Marketing team. Working as part of the Corporate Communications team, this role will support and enhance UEA’s reputation through engaging, impactful communications.
You will develop, execute and evaluate our communications strategy, content and channels, ensuring we can tell our stories, boost our reputation and inspire our audiences.
You will drive strategic, reactive and proactive PR and engagement campaigns to build the reputation of the University regionally, nationally and internationally and you will target and nurture media relationships to identify unique and exciting opportunities.
You will lead our crisis communication planning and response and deliver campaigns for key University events (clearing, graduation, Welcome Week). You will also work closely with colleagues across the Division to support marketing and recruitment plans to support student recruitment.
You will have a degree or equivalent level qualification, a relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience, and excellent communication skills. Your proven experience in a broadcast, communications, PR or media-based role will be combined with an in-depth knowledge of social media channels and media.
