Permanent position, 0.4 FTE (approx. 15 hours per week). Hours to be agreed.
Working within Professional guidelines and accountability, the post-holder will have responsibility for the management of a defined caseload . You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team within Wellbeing Support Services (Psychological Therapists, Wellbeing Advisers, Disability Advisers etc).
The post holder will have responsibility for managing, and co-ordinating work ensuring referrals are dealt with according to clinical need, holistic assessments and care plans are recorded in line with Professional record keeping standards and clinical care at all times meets acceptable standards of patient safety and quality outcomes. You will be required to liaise with both primary and secondary care to ensure students can access appropriate care in line with NHS care pathways.
The post holder will be required to work with a high degree of autonomy and professional accountability, providing support, advice and guidance to the broader team, providing an appropriate level of support to enable students with mental health disabilities to fully engage with their studies and University life.
Your CPD requirements and professional registration can be met by a range of training opportunities, supervision and adherence to NMC standards within a small nursing team.
