The School of Film, Media and Performing Arts, based at Farnham Campus is looking to appoint highly motivated and inspiring Associate Professors, bringing substantial research specialism or industry experience in one or more areas of expertise.
We have opportunities across all of our programmes and specialisms
including Film Production, TV Production, Animation, Acting and Performance, Design for Theatre and Screen, Music and Sound Production. Masters courses include Filmmaking, Cinematography, Screen Acting, Production Design and Composition for Screen.
These positions may be offered full-time or fractional (based on skills, experience & need) and to enable continued engagement with professional practice.
You will coordinate and manage teaching and learning activities related to the subject area at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate level, participate in research and/or knowledge transfer and enhance the currency, employability and industry engagement of courses within the school.
You will be required to contribute to the internationalisation strategy of the School with a focus on both home and international student experience.
You will have substantial research experience in an appropriate subject and/or significant industry expertise and esteem within your discipline. You will have the ability to communicate supportively, clearly and appropriately with students from diverse backgrounds and you will play a key role in inspiring our students’ creativity, innovation and employability.
