An excellent opportunity for a part-time administrator with strong organisation, communication and project management skills to join a strategic team and support the implementation of Birkbeck’s new vision and strategy for education and student experience.
We are seeking an experienced part-time administrator to join our new team in the Education Directorate. As Education Strategy Coordinator, you will play a key role supporting the implementation of the College’s new corporate strategy Vision 2021-26. The postholder will support the Director of Education Strategy in all aspects of the work of the Education Directorate, taking responsibility for key projects and devising a communications strategy for ensuring that news and progress updates are shared with the Birkbeck community effectively. The role provides an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a passion for education and the student experience to join a strategic team that is leading the transformation of Birkbeck’s portfolio of courses for 2023 entry.
In order to be successful in this role, you will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have proven experience in an administrative role with competing priorities. You will have excellent interpersonal, organisation and communication skills with an ability to work well with colleagues at a range of different levels across the College in order to deliver projects successfully on time. Understanding of/experience in the higher education sector will be important in this role.

Remuneration:
Grade 7 of the College's London Pay Scale which is £39,173 rising to £44,775 per annum (pro-rata)
The salary quoted will be pro-rata for this part time and is on the College's London Pay Scale which includes a consolidated Weighting/Allowance which applies only to staff whose normal contractual place of work is in the London area.
