The Opportunity

This role is responsible for the strategy and execution of all UCFB and GIS marketing.
Leading a high-performing Marketing team of 10, the role will deliver on the organisation’s aims and objectives for student and brand growth in the UK and other key markets including North America and Australia.
Areas of responsibility span across the production and distribution of all content through paid and organic channels, including advertising, website management, PR and communications, social media marketing, audio/visual and written content, branding and design, and partnership activation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for promotion of the entire UCFB and GIS portfolio, including our innovative Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, our growing list of partners and locations in London, Manchester, Miami, Melbourne, New York, Toronto and Atlanta, in addition to the successes of our students and alumni in the sports industry. The post holder will be targeted with supporting the domestic and international growth of the organisation.
An understanding of the sports industry would be beneficial, as would knowledge of the higher education sector and cycle. As an individual they should be entrepreneurial, able to self-manage and be a strong team player.
This is a crucial senior leadership role that sits on various cross-departmental committees as well as liaising with external partners. A strong ability to build and maintain relationships is therefore also essential.

Additional Information
Working hours: Working hours normally 8.30 am - 5pm but may involve additional and unsocial working hours depending on the nature of the event and occasional travel between campus.
Please note that if you do not have permission to work in the UK, UCFB will not be able to obtain a Certificate of Sponsorship for you to take up this position. All non EU/EAA candidates must have valid immigration status and/or a UK visa valid for the duration of the contract in order to be considered for this role.
