IQ Schools Group wish to appoint a talented and proactive Regional Manager to join the International Student Recruitment team and play an important role in delivering our ambitious student recruitment aims.  The role is focused on developing new student enrolments and promoting Adcote Schools for Girls and Myddelton College in Central Asia and throughout other regions.

We are a highly ambitious company that has acquired two independent boarding schools and are growing rapidly offering huge potential for advancement within the company in a short space of time. Our plans over the next five years are for expansion, and we are seeking somebody looking for a long-term position to join the team.

Main Purpose of the Role & Person Specification

The Regional Manager will be responsible for the recruitment of students from Central Asia and responsibility and support in other regions may be added as required.  The post holder will be an ambassador for both schools, delivering excellent customer service and building rapport with prospective parents, students and educational consultants. You will contribute to the development of sales strategies including setting and reaching of targets and will liaise with the Assistant Director of International Admissions and senior school staff to maximise student recruitment, including frequent data/sales analysis and the creation of marketing campaign proposals as required. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, sales focused and well organised with the ability to multi-task. Preferably based out of our Birmingham office, however opportunities for hybrid working are available.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Manage liaison with parents and pupils, schools and agents; organise recruitment activities and contribute to the development of marketing materials to promote the schools.
  2. Responsible for enquiries from parents and pupils for a range of courses across various channels of communication.
  3. Manage the admissions service, providing information and advice relating to courses on offer, arranging interviews and placement tests when required and processing individual enrolments.
  4. Set up and maintain a computerised database of student records using the CRM system, analysing data and producing sales reports. Liaise with and respond to queries from other departments.
  5. Work closely with senior staff including Admissions and Marketing colleagues at schools and members of the International Team to ensure a positive experience for students.
  6. A willingness to frequently travel to both schools and overseas to attend school marketing events.
  7. Manage the development of processes and systems to improve competitiveness in the UK Boarding School Sector.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Educated to Degree Level or Above
  • Desirable experience and proven success in student recruitment in Independent Schools
  • Customer Service Experience

Desired Knowledge

  • An understanding of school admissions processes
  • An understanding of the UK Education Sector

Skills and Competencies

  • Fluent Russian Speaker (Preferable)

  Ability to interpret data and respond with changes to market plans

  • Excellent IT and word-processing skills
  • Strong and effective communication skills
  • Must be target focused
  • A sensitivity to the needs and concerns of pupils and their parents
  • Cross-cultural awareness
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
