The post holders would also be awarded an honorary Cardiff University academic post commensurate with their CV and would be expected to secure status as an honorary Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, or in exceptional circumstances as a Reader.

The successful applicants will have a DClinPsy or equivalent and be registered with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist. Accreditation with BABCP, AFT, or other recognised professional bodies would be advantageous. The posts are offered either as a secondment or on a temporary contractual basis for a 36 month period.  Continuation beyond that is dependent on the programme being re-commissioned.

The successful applicants will be joining an established and respected Clinical Psychology Doctorate team.  This role involves close collaboration and partnership working with University and NHS colleagues, including Clinical Psychologists, Service Users and Carers, and other healthcare professionals.
