UCL Medical School is looking to recruit an experienced Assessment and Feedback Unit Manager to support the delivery of high quality assessments within the MBBS programme. The MBBS programme is dedicated to training future doctors, and the Assessment and Feedback Unit plays a pivotal role in providing robust, and consistent assessment across all years of the programme. The post holder will support the Academic Lead for Assessment and the work of the Assessment and Feedback Unit and will be responsible for developing, planning, coordinating, supporting and quality assuring the delivery of the undergraduate assessments across the MBBS programme. The post holder will manage bespoke assessment software and databases, including providing user support and will provide support in the development and delivery of communications and resources to enhance the student experience.

This post is available for 12 months in the first instance.

We welcome applications from current UCL members of staff on a secondment basis.

The successful candidate will have experience of supporting exams and assessments, preferably in a Medical School assessment environment. They will have good knowledge of preparing reports and conducting statistical analysis with the ability to review available data and identify cause and effect, trends and anomalies and present it to a wide audience. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, they will have a sensitive and collaborative approach and will be innovative and problem-solving with the ability to adapt and accommodate change. Demonstrable organisational skills with the ability to identify service requirements and design administrative systems appropriate to a student-centred environment is essential as is the ability to work methodically and accurately with close attention to detail and to work flexibly under pressure and to deadlines.
