Applications are invited for the post of Course Leader on the Masters programme of Genealogical, Palaeographic and Heraldic Studies within the newly formed Strathclyde Institute of Genealogical Studies (SIGS). SIGS is an exciting new initiative which will further increase the profile of the globally recognised work of the genealogy team at the Centre for Lifelong Learning within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. It aims to establish Strathclyde as the world leader in the field of genealogy education. The post holder will lead the team responsible for the University’s largest online postgraduate programme and work with the Head of SIGS to widen its reach and ensure it remains in step with genealogical developments (e.g. genetic genealogy, online resources). In addition, they will identify and deliver on areas ripe for development and contribute to the growth of SIGS’s research contribution.
