We are appointing a Research Associate in Lattice Boltzmann modelling of salt precipitation. Your overall purpose is to develop and validate a lattice-Boltzmann model which multiphase flow, thermodynamics, phase change and geochemistry to simulate salt precipitation during injection of CO2 into porous media and to carry out pore-scale micromodel and X-ray imaging experiments for model validation.
