About the Role

We are currently looking for a Web Developer who will work with Head of Web Development to deliver improvements and new functionality for Queen Mary’s website and related microsites. The role will be responsible for delivering web development work from conception to delivery that meets good practice standards. The role will support the university to achieve student recruitment and marketing goals.

Your responsibilities will include front-end development for the Queen Mary website, liaising with internal stakeholders and advising on industry best practice for a variety of student recruitment and research projects. You will have the opportunity to contribute to major projects currently being undertaken by the Queen Mary web team.

About the Department

You will join a forward-thinking solution focused Web team within the External Relations Directorate. Our directorate is responsible for raising the awareness and reputation of Queen Mary among its target audiences, and for increasing the quality and quantity of Queen Mary applicants. We collaborate with stakeholders, we support staff, students and prospective students to achieve more.

The is a hybrid role and the Professional Services office is based in Whitechapel, London. It is a full time permanent appointment. The starting salary will be Grade 4, in the range of £35,775 - £42,021 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
