As we continue our exciting growth plans, to deliver on our ambitious strategy and goals for Healthcare Education, we are seeking a Programme Leader to lead the development and delivery of our Assistant Practitioner Foundation Degree and Higher-Level Apprenticeship, which has been designed in conjunction with our key partners. We are looking for an adaptable, talented individual, with a depth of experience within the health and care sector, and an appetite to work in a small and driven team, which uses a multi- disciplinary approach to running programmes.

This is an exciting new role to develop the specialist nature of the Assistant Practitioner programmes, contributing to the continued growth and strength of our highly valued industry partnerships and sector-leading collaborations. We are looking for an experienced and motivated clinical academic to promote, manage and deliver high quality clinical programme development to meet Nursing, Allied Health and wider workforce plans, to support the continued growth of the Assistant Practitioner role within the region. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the wider business development and industry engagement of the school’s plans for healthcare education. 

You will be required to hold a first degree, and registration with a professional body is desirable but not essential. You must be able to demonstrate significant professional experience in healthcare education pedagogy and competence in clinical teaching, training or education.

You will have high personal standards and be a passionate team player with the ability to work in a fast paced, multidisciplinary and collaborative educational team.
