We are looking for a highly skilled individual who possesses excellent technical and organisational skills to join our Skills and Simulation team. You will be responsible for the running and maintenance of the Skills and Simulation Suite, providing efficient and effective support, ensuring the effective management of operational processes to support a range of pre-registration professional programmes.

You will act as a key link with internal and external stakeholders, supporting the work of skills and simulation education across the Faculty with a focus on the School of Medicine in the first instance. You will be the focal administrative point of the suite, liaising closely with key Faculty functions such as Student Education, Facilities and Health and Safety to ensure compliance with both legislative and University procedures and policies.

Reporting to the Head of Clinical Skills, you will line manage the Skills Technician and work closely with them to ensure the smooth operation of the facility. You will also work closely with Faculty-wide technical staff, skills educators, Academics and students, as well as the business/administration teams in the School, ensuring the successful day-to-day business operations of the Suite.

You will have a proactive focus with the ability to handle a busy workload efficiently and professionally. You should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and be able to initiate, build and manage networks, establishing effective working relationships, dealing diplomatically with a wide range of people and maintaining confidentiality.
