An exciting opportunity has become available to work as a project manager of an international network of researchers to deliver a strategy on which models and what methods are most suited to study the role of ageing in the development of Parkinson’s Disease.
You will be responsible for the management of the network funded by the Michael J Fox Foundation composed of over 30 international partners, coordinating online events and workshops, managing the finance and reporting to the Foundation and drafting reports and manuscripts emerging from the workshops. This post provides excellent opportunity to develop ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders, become familiar with processes of strategy development, leading to the coordination of efforts among international research groups in ageing and Parkinson’s disease to find new interventions. We are seeking candidates with a good honour’s degree or equivalent, project management experience and excellent communication and negotiation skills.
