We are looking for a Clinical Placement Coordinator to manage, develop, and co-ordinate the Sport Rehabilitation, Student Placements.
The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic team and contribute by supervising Undergraduate and Postgraduate Sport Rehabilitation students on clinical placement in the Student Placement Clinic as well as co-ordinating external placement providers. They will ensure that patients served by the Student Placement Clinic are treated safely and effectively, and that an appropriate Duty of Care is extended towards these patients at all times.
Candidates will demonstrate ability to coordinate and develop external placement providers, ensuring the quality of external clinical placements is maintained. Successful candidates will work closely with BASRaT and use the BASRaT Educational Framework to form the basis of Placement procedures and policies.
A relevant first degree or Masters-level qualification with full graduate membership of a relevant professional body such as the British Association of Sport Rehabilitators and Trainers, the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists or equivalent is essential. It is essential that applicants have a current pitch side, immediate care qualification e.g., PHICIS or a willingness to work towards gaining this qualification.
