The Opportunity
At the School of Languages, Literatures, Cultures and Linguistics, we conduct research in the disciplines of European and Asian languages, literary and cultural studies, creative writing, linguistics and applied linguistics, history, and the social sciences, as well as translation and intercultural studies. We are seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing (Level C) with an outstanding record of creative publication, a track record of traditional research publication, demonstrated teaching excellence in creative writing, and mature industry networks and/or industry experience in editing and publishing. As well as teaching into the Literary Studies and Creative Writing curriculum, the appointee will be expected to lead the program’s engagement with Melbourne’s vibrant literary industry, fostering unique opportunities for the program’s students and staff.
