Who We Are
The Academic Partnership Unit (APU) at Coventry University works across the University Group to identify, develop and support academic collaborations between Coventry University and its growing partner network, both in the UK and around the world. Providing extensive support to our partners, the APU primarily helps to facilitate the development, management and delivery of academic programmes jointly with overseas education providers.
Our team is part way towards achieving a growth phase that includes the realisation of ambitious targets for further expanding the scale of our activity, and enhancing still further our position as a leading university in the delivery of TNE.
To achieve further growth and increase our presence worldwide, we are looking to appoint a Partnership Project Officer.
Who You Are
As a member of the Partnership Management Team, you will provide critical support of key business operations across the Academic Partnership Unit. Reporting into the Associate Director - Partnership Operations (APU) you will work closely with the APU (at all levels) and will have the responsibility for contributing to the effective liaison, co-operation and support between the partners and faculties/schools and the APU.
The role provides leadership and management over the Travel and Events team supporting all travel related to APU & CURA activity and travel risk management. The role also provides essential support of the Directorate across all aspects of the APU business and required working with a range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels in support of the management of key stakeholder relationships.
• Effective communication, liaison and negotiation with a range of internal and external customers at all levels
• International travel management and office management
• Experience of administrative and clerical procedures required to ensure the needs of the Directorate are met
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to prioritise work in order to meet deadlines
