LSHTM is looking to recruit an experienced, highly motivated and meticulous individual for the Human Resources Systems team.
This is a high-volume role which will include various tasks such as managing helpdesk enquiries, calculating annual leave calculations, creating regular reports and analysing large amounts of data. The role holder will also support the process of all statutory returns, whilst contributing to ad-hoc HR-related projects.
Applicants will ideally have experience of working within a similar role, with an analytical mind-set, a strong HRIS background and intermediate IT skills. They will hold a degree or have equivalent relevant systems experience and demonstrable experience of working with data and spreadsheet manipulation. Applicants should also have experience of working with an HR/ Payroll system, preferably ResourceLink. This is a high-paced, high-volume role and the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail at all times. The post is full-time and permanent. The salary will be on the Professional Services salary scale Grade 5 in the range £36,438 - £41,829 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part-time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. LSHTM have a newly implemented Hybrid Working Framework, which alongside agreed service requirements, enables teams to work more flexibly (if the role allows), promoting a greater wellbeing and work/life balance.
