The School of Medicine wishes to appoint a Lecturer in Clinical Exercise Physiology to join our innovative team teaching several modules within the discipline areas of Sports Medicine, Lifestyle Medicine and Physical Activity, Health and Disease, at postgraduate level. You will contribute to the areas of course delivery and assessment as well as contributing to the on-going development of the Sports Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine programmes.
Experience of working with individuals with long term conditions is essential and previous experience of teaching in a higher education environment within the subject areas of clinical/exercise physiology is preferable, alongside experience of developing teaching and learning resources. You will hold a good honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject, a relevant master’s qualification or equivalent professional experience and will have completed a doctoral level award of demonstrate willingness to work towards such a degree programme in a relevant subject. You will have a commitment to continued professional development and of the University’s strategy and values.
You must possess excellent communication and presentation skills; have an ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and maintain good working relationships with other healthcare professions.
