About the vacancy: The UK Student Recruitment and Admissions Department are responsible for the planning, implementation and delivery of a range of events and activities to ensure the University meets its domestic student recruitment and widening access targets.

Getting the right applicants enrolled on the right courses is key to all activities undertaken by the department and crucial in a competitive market place.

About you: As a Student Recruitment and Marketing Events Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of a range of student recruitment and outreach events and activities, including but not limited to: undergraduate and postgraduate open days; offer holder days, selection events, taster days, student conferences, campus visits etc.

As part of this role you will also be responsible for the event planning and management of event logistics and support services to ensure the seamless execution of our events. This includes the recruitment and training of student ambassadors and supervise ambassadors and event staff at events.

You will be able to demonstrate excellent planning, organisation, and communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with professional and academic colleagues across the institution to ensure events and activities are delivered in line with recruitment strategies and plans.

You will demonstrate a positive, proactive and customer focused approach to deliver an excellent enquirer and applicant experience in all recruitment and outreach events and activities.

This post is based at our lively Frenchay campus.

This is a part-time, permanent post, working 22.5 hours per week. Hours to be agreed with the line manager.
