We are seeking a Learning Technology Lead to oversee and manage the development and provision of learning technology in support of the learning, teaching and research needs of our academic community.
This is a crucial role at the University to support the University’s learning technology tools including the Virtual Learning Environment and third-party tools (online collaboration and assessment tools). You will be a key connection point between Learning Experience and IT, ensuring clear communication between these departments and supporting both as required.
To be successful, you will have experience of VLE administration, development (ideally with Blackboard Learn Ultra) and support, along with a background in designing and delivering training and resources. You will also have experience of developing online environments to support campus, blended and online courses and in producing training materials, user guides, technical documentation, and process documentation. In addition, you will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and an understanding of staff and student needs from a VLE point of view within a HE environment.
