This position offers an excellent opportunity to support the Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) by working as part of its administrative team. The Centre for Teaching and Learning supports the academic development of teaching and learning in line with institutional priorities for education and in partnership with students and colleagues in academic divisions and professional services.
This is a maternity cover post. We are looking for an individual to oversee the administrative arrangements for the teaching and development programmes and contribute to the improvement of administrative processes that enable the smooth running of these programmes. You will also be required to support other colleagues in the team and across the Department. You will have excellent organisational and administrative skills, good attention to detail and an ability to work to deadlines. You should have good interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate clearly with academic and administrative staff across the University and a proven ability to work well as part of a team. You must be competent in a range of standard IT applications and be able to learn new IT systems quickly.

This is a part-time post (29.2 hours per week/0.8fte) until the end of September 2023. Due to current working patterns within the department, the ideal candidate would be able to work on a Friday.
