Deputy Lead Practitioner

Are you qualified in Early Years Practice looking for the opportunity to work in a Nursery rated Outstanding by OFSTED? 

You would join our busy and well-established team to provide a safe, secure, exciting and stimulating environment for the babies and children in our Nursery. 

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect our staff, students and volunteers to share this commitment. 

You will:

• Be qualified to NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in the Early Years or a relevant area
• Have knowledge and training in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Have experience of supervising and leading others
• Have experience of working with young children in a nursery setting
• Be willing to undertake training and work flexibly across the nursery age range

This post is part of the management team working 37.5 hours per week year-round and you will work with all age groups.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Appointment will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service, including a check of the Child Barred List. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children. 

This full-time post is available immediately on an indefinite basis.
