Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available until 31 July 2025 in the first instance.

Education Services provides support to students and staff across the University and Colleges to enable a high quality, student-focussed experience, which gives all students the opportunity to make informed choices prior to applying, to succeed in their studies and to equip themselves for life beyond Cambridge. This role will support the Business Improvement Manager in the management and delivery of projects designed to improve services provided by Education Services.

The post holder will be required to:

  • establish, develop and maintain administrative systems and procedures
  • produce detailed programme outlines and plans
  • provide a contact point to represent Education Services
  • promote and communicate projects
  • project manage specific tasks within the programme
  • create, update and manage programme documentation
  • develop and improve management systems and processes to maintain audit trails
  • process expense claims, raise purchase orders and procure equipment and report on the finances for the project
  • gather, analyse and present data and compile reports
  • organise project events such as meetings, workshops and conferences
  • prepare promotional materials and promote publicity events for projects

The successful candidate will initially focus on managing and contributing to a major change programme in respect of examinations and assessments. We invite applications from individuals who:

  • have experience in an administrative or project role
  • demonstrative a strong knowledge of project coordination
  • have strong research, analysis and reporting skills
  • can exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • are experienced users of Microsoft Office
  • are extremely organised
