Job Summary
The Centre for Languages, Culture and Communication (CLCC) is seeking an experienced administrator to be responsible for the day to day administration of the Languages Programme at Imperial. The programme provides language learning for students preparing for a year abroad and also for our Degrees with Language for Science combined degree programme. The Language Programme is also a large contributor to the Imperial Horizons Programme for undergraduates (Horizons). Imperial is committed to providing an educational experience that empowers graduates to be leaders in their chosen careers and contribute meaningfully to society. The CLCC provides breadth to the study of science, engineering and medicine with a range of humanities-focused courses and modules, including Horizons, the Science Communication Unit, which offers two Masters programmes, the Languages Unit, and the Adult Education programme.
Horizons is the largest contributor to the undergraduate I-Explore Programme, which was launched in 2020 and is fully embedded in the curriculum of each undergraduate student, equipping them with key transferable skills needed for them to become better critical thinkers, communicators and problem solvers, and to succeed in any workplace environment.

This is a full-time open-ended post. The College is currently trialling a Work Location Framework until early 2023. Hybrid working may be considered for this role and the role holder may be expected to work 60% or more of their time onsite, with 40% the minimum time spent onsite. The opportunity for hybrid working will be discussed at interview.
