DMU is an ambitious, globally minded and culturally rich university with a strong commitment to the public good. We strive to maintain a stimulating and inclusive environment that champions difference and celebrates success.
Faculty / Directorate

Housed in a dedicated Arts & Design building the School incorporates undergraduate and postgraduate study with excellence in teaching, research and design consultancy with a commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Role
MA Fashion Management with Marketing is an established part of the postgraduate suite within the School and is an attractive offer with home and international students. We are looking for an innovative individual to complement our team of industry specialists and add to our existing expertise to develop our offer and enhance student experience contributing to programmes at undergraduate and post graduate levels.
You will engage with the preparation and delivery of teaching material in fashion management, marketing and entrepreneurship. You will be expected to make a substantial contribution to the academic and reputational development of the School and to engage in scholarly research which aligns to one or several of the university-wide themes: Net Zero, Creative and Heritage Industries, Living in a Digital Society, Lifelong Wellbeing, Peace, Equality and Social Justice.
The role is on a full time (37 hours per week), permanent basis.
Ideal Candidate

You will possess excellent communication, inter-personal and networking skills. You will demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering an excellent student experience and to working within a team to build on current successes. Whilst teaching experience is desirable, it is not essential; however, an understanding and interest in Fashion Management, Fashion Marketing and related disciplines, within the context of Higher Education and experience of being a visiting lecturer would be a distinct advantage for all applicants.
