Brunel University is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Senior Technician to support our Chemical Engineering department.Working as part of a dynamic and friendly team you will support delivering world class training, education and research.
This is a varied and interesting role and the candidate will supervise several laboratories, ensuring a high standard of service is provided to staff and students, and that health and safety. This includes delivery of induction and training for new users and ensuring all work is appropriately risk assessed.
We would like to hear from applicants who have good technical knowledge and experience, gained in a science or engineering environment, and strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent verbal, written communication and IT skills. Experience/knowledge in Civil, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering is desirable, however training will be provided where necessary. Applicants should also have a good working knowledge of risk assessment and control.
