The School of Natural Sciences at the University of Hull offers Biochemistry, Biology, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics degrees. We are looking to appoint a Lecturer in Biochemistry to join our team.
Biological Sciences at Hull has a strong tradition of high-quality research and teaching. Our team teach and research in a wide range of specialist areas, spanning biochemistry through to ecosystem ecology, and colleagues also contribute to courses in Biomedical Sciences, Chemistry, Forensic Science, Environmental Science and at the Hull York Medical School.
Biochemists and Biologists at Hull have access to a wide range of laboratory and analytical equipment, including a state-of-the-art Mass Spectroscopy Suite, ICP, NMR, e-DNA, genetics and genomics, electron microscopy, FTIR microscopy and tissue culture facilities. We are seeking a Lecturer in Biochemistry to provide a broad contribution to the School’s BSc Biochemistry and MBiochem programmes, and to start developing a portfolio of high-quality, externally-funded scientific research.
