Peoples Future Limited is a dedicated subsidiary within the Coventry University Group and is looking to appoint a full time Teaching Fellow in Design & Sustainability who is committed to contributing to the continued success of the School of Mechanical Engineering.

The successful candidate will have experience of design and/or project management to progress a solution through key developmental phases.
The role holder will have experience of PLM and developing solutions to meet sustainability requirements.
Within the role they should be able to relate current industrial best practice into a manageable format for students. The design curriculum includes; design management (systems approach), CAD/CAM, QA, DFx (including Design for Sustainability), LCA, verification and validation techniques.

You will need to share our passion for delivering a positive student experience that puts excellence in teaching and learning at the heart of everything we do and will be able to demonstrate significant knowledge in your area of specialisation. You will be expected to support design and delivery of teaching that is engaging, innovative and responsive, that achieves excellent student learning outcomes. You must be willing to work flexibly to promote and support international partnerships, as well as potentially deliver teaching onsite at one of our international partners.
This position is a teaching focused post that will appeal to you by allowing you to focus on pedagogic practice and curriculum development. The post will attract candidates from both academic and industrial backgrounds and the successful candidate should be qualified to Honours Degree in a relevant subject. Membership of a Professional Body, a recognised teaching qualification or participation in professional educational practice/consultancy will also be advantageous.
