An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and proactive individual with a passion for providing a high quality student service to join the professional services team in the Department of Literature, Film, and Theatre Studies as a Senior Student Administrator. Duties of the Role
Working under the leadership of our Department Manager, you will primarily be responsible for providing high quality and efficient administrative support for our postgraduate student services and for helping to maintain our financial records.
The duties of the post are varied and wide-ranging, with a key responsibility for managing the delivery of an excellent postgraduate student service in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
Skills and qualifications required
This varied and rewarding role would suit an experienced and proactive administrator with a commitment to excellent service delivery, and a flexible, positive approach to work. High-level communication and interpersonal skills together with a proven ability to develop effective working relationships at all levels are essential to this role, together with the ability to prioritise and work effectively to deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Some experience of budgeting, financial control and being comfortable with providing financial information would be desirable.
