About the role
We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced administrator to join our AccessAbility Centre which is part of the Student Support Services team, providing team leadership across a range of student facing interactions. This would include email, phone and face to face channels, as well as overseeing and facilitating the running of administrative systems and processes to ensure a smooth, timely and efficient staff and student experience.
You would be responsible for leading on the design and administration of the systems which record the support given to disabled students. This will involve developing knowledge of the differing processes used by various funding bodies with regard to DSA, and becoming a subject expert on this, providing advice and support where required.
About you
Ideally, you should have relevant work experience in a similar administrative role, alongside a relevant academic or vocational qualification (NVQ 3, A-Level or equivalent). Proven experience in a supervisory role and financial environment is also beneficial.
You should be a an extremely proficient user of Microsoft Office, with a high level of competence using Microsoft Excel, as well as familiarity with other database software or financial packages.
