Our university aims to become one of the world’s leading universities. The Internal and Change Communications team plays a key role in supporting our strategic priorities and continued success. You will provide communications support to the Internal and Change Communications team to plan, develop and deliver employee engagement.
We are a busy team, with over 12,000 staff to engage with. We work with key areas of the university to develop and delivery communications campaigns across 12 months. Whilst managing planned work we also need to be responsive to what is going on around the university and are required to develop and deliver rapid response communications to reach our staff on specific issues.
You will be responsible for the strategic account management across areas such as People and Organisational Development and Equality Diversity and Inclusion as well as supporting the wider team. You will work with the wider internal communications team to manage and deliver our editorial calendar and work on longer lead campaigns.
You will be responsible for supporting the creation of innovative communications solutions across for specific projects and day to day operations, building close professional relationships with stakeholders to ensure a proactive approach to strategic communications and consistency of message.
You will have experience of delivering written communications as well as creating video and images and website content. You will be familiar with using eMarketing email systems and carrying out evaluation to demonstrate the outcomes of your work.
It is an exciting time to join our team as we are currently making improvements to how we communicate with staff. We are looking for someone who has experience of developing approaches to engage with non-computer-based staff as well as driving improvements in our digital channels.
