Can you provide technical support to research projects? Do you have extensive laboratory experience which includes skills in sample collection and storage, tissue processing, cell isolation, cell assays, gene and protein expression assays and general laboratory support including Health & Safety?
You will provide technical support to research work focussed on understanding heart failure in the context of diabetes and its precursors.
Working within a research team led by Professor David Beech, you will show initiative in learning, refining and developing relevant experimental techniques, generating ideas, proposing hypotheses and solving practical and intellectual problems.
You will have a BTEC National Certificate or Diploma / Degree, or equivalent, in a biological or biomedical related discipline. You will also have a strong background in laboratory studies of physiology and disease.
