We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Research Project Assistant to support the Hearing Health Theme of the NIHR Manchester BRC and Manchester Centre for Audiology and Deafness (ManCAD), based in the School of Health Sciences at the University of Manchester.
You will be responsible for providing high quality day-to-day project support and tasks through all stages of the research cycle. Initially you will be supporting a research project funded by the British Tinnitus Association (BTA) and will be making appointments for participants, managing participant payment, and organizing locations at which a mobile testing unit can be set up for testing in and around the greater Manchester area, amongst other project-specific administrative duties. Once this project is complete, you will support other researchers with project administration including the running of a volunteer database.
The successful applicant will have experience of working in administration, preferably within the university. Experience of working in a research group is desirable but not essential as training can be given.
