Background
The Birmingham International Academy at the University of Birmingham is a British Council Accredited department providing English language and Academic skills development to the University’s international students.
Summary of Role
We are looking to recruit suitably qualified and experienced Teaching Fellows on Casual Appointment contracts for our summer 10, 6 and 4-week Pre-sessional English courses.
Summer 2023 courses are on campus for the 10, 6- & 4-week courses and online for the 6-week. On-campus staff must be within commutable distance to campus. Staff teaching the online programme must be in the UK for the duration of the course. Fully subsidised campus accommodation is available from the 9th July. All staff must have the right to work in the UK.

Our Pre-sessional is open to students under the age of 18. Teachers need to be aware of safeguarding and welfare practices are associated with this group of students. A DBS check may be required upon appointment.
