Faculty of Science and Health
The Faculty of Science and Health brings together six academic departments and schools that make diverse contributions to the University’s strategic mission as a globally competitive, research-intensive and student-focused institution.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Finance Business Partner with a strength in communicating complex financial information to a variety of Faculty stakeholders, reporting to the Faculty Accountant. You will work closely with colleagues across the faculty senior management team providing them with a high quality and professional financial support service. Your main responsibilities will include financial planning and forecasting, budgetary control and regular reporting.
You will have substantial experience of working in a similar role and have excellent analytical and IT skills. You will also be a strong team player and have the ability to work effectively on your own initiative. The ideal candidate will be confident, deadline driven, and possess the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. If you feel that you have the skills, experience, drive and enthusiasm required to undertake this crucial role, we would like to hear from you.
This is a part-time role which will be based at the university Colchester campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements and there is access to on-site childcare. Travel schemes are also available.
This is a great opportunity to join a close-knit and friendly team that is responsible for delivering all of the financial management and management accounting needs of a large and growing faculty.
