About the Role:
Estates and Facilities are responsible for all the services required to make our campuses pleasant and positive places to work and study. Our services include estate development, cleaning and maintenance, environmental management and travel services, timetabling, space management, catering, conference services and residential services.
Our Projects team sits within estates development and are seeking a new project manager to join our friendly, professional and customer focused colleagues based across all our campus locations. In this varied role, you will be responsible for the delivery of a wide range of campus development projects from revenue fit outs to capital new builds.
ARU has a development plan to encourage student growth over the coming years and is committed to develop the existing campuses to provide an outstanding student experience. With masterplans currently being developed this is an exciting time to join our team.
You’ll have a degree plus demonstrable professional experience for the role or relevant professional/degree level qualification appropriate to the role. Ideally with membership of relevant professional body or evidence of recent CPD, you'll have experience of managing external consultants and contractors through frameworks. Relevant experience of delivering projects within higher education sector or similar, as well as the ability to undertaken procurement and management of building works is essential for this role. You’ll also be a collaborative team member with a keen architectural eye for detail and forward thinking customer focus.
