The School of Psychology and Clinical Language Sciences is seeking to appoint a highly motivated Senior Research Technician to join our collegiate, research-active and highly regarded team of academic staff.
The appointed individual will contribute to technical and statistical support for our Psychology students and staff, under the direction of the Director of Teaching and Learning for Undergraduate Psychology programmes. This individual will take the lead of the Statistical drop-in sessions, support the more advanced undergraduate and postgraduate research projects relying on specialist software, such as Python, Matlab or Psychotoolbox, and contribute to the demonstration of practical skills at sessions where programming and data analysis skills are taught. Importantly, the applicant must have practical experience of working with a wide range of data, including from behavioural experiments, questionnaires, physiological recording, image processing or kinematic recording.
