We are excited to be expanding our theatre team by recruiting this permanent, full-time position (36.25 hours). You are passionate about animal welfare and research excellence and looking for an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious, forward-thinking and vibrant team at a leading University.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and smooth-running of several surgical theatres to support cutting-edge research at two University campuses. The post holder may also be required to administer and maintain anaesthesia during surgical preparations with opportunities to apply and expand minor procedural skills in a range of biomedical research topics and species. You will be supervising and leading on training in anaesthesia and peri-operative care for both technical staff and researchers and will take ownership of and be responsible for ensuring highest standards in theatres and procedural areas across both facilities.
