Applications are invited to join the Centre for Social Work team at the University of Nottingham as a Teaching Associate. The Centre for Social Work forms part of the School of Sociology and Social Policy (SSP) which is a vibrant, diverse and exciting hub for social science teaching and research.
The Centre for Social Work offers Social Work England (SWE)-accredited undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes and is an active member of the D2N2 Social Work Teaching Partnership. We are looking for an enthusiastic person who has a passion for teaching and working with social work students.
The successful candidate will have responsibility for organising, developing and delivering teaching and assessment across both the BA and MA Social Work programmes. They will also be expected to provide tutoring for students across both programmes. In addition to teaching and student support this role also involves administrative responsibilities and close working with colleagues in partner agencies across the D2N2 Teaching Partnership.
