About the Department:
SOAS Careers provides careers education to current SOAS students and graduates, as well as recruitment solutions for employers. SOAS Careers provides a ‘core’ service accessible to all students and graduates as well as varying degrees of more ‘local’ provision within individual departments or particular groups of students. An essential aspect of our core service is the provision of advice and training for our student population on navigating employer recruitment and selection processes, from composing effective written applications to high level performance in interviews and at assessment centre, using Careers guidance methodologies. The post holder will also be expected to collaborate with, and provide advice to, members of the wider Careers team within the core service as well as staff working at the local level within the eleven SOAS Departments.
