Background
This is a key post within the Strategic Planning & Performance Unit supporting the implementation of City's Vision and Strategy 2030. This exciting role within a growing team will support the further development of our Tableau dashboard reporting platform, encouraging and embedding evidence-based decision making throughout City.
Responsibilities
The postholder will contribute across a range of strategic activities with a focus upon enhancing the management information and business intelligence function through further development of our Tableau platform.
You will play a key role in the development of interactive dashboards (using Tableau and Alteryx), enabling key stakeholders including senior management to enhance their understanding of performance and enable more responsive, data informed decision making.
Person Specification
You should have experience of data analysis and ideally have experience of designing data visualisations and dashboards using specialist software (such as Tableau, PowerBI, Qlikview etc). A comprehensive training programme will be provided for the role holder to become familiar with both Tableau and Alteryx.
You will be a team player who is enthusiastic, eager to learn and is adept at communicating key analytical findings to a range of audiences including committees and senior management.
