Salary: Full time starting salary is normally in the range £53,353 to £61,823, with potential progression once in post to £80,613. Grade 9

Main Duties
Education
You will contribute across the range of teaching and learning activities:
- making a significant contribution to the pedagogical knowledge base of the subject that advances teaching through the enhancement of practice, the development of teaching resources and/or through practice-based research;
- leading on the management and the development of approaches to teaching and learning, including designing innovative approaches and supporting colleagues to use them in the subject area or institution;
- leading on curriculum design at module and programme level to ensure it is contemporary, inclusive, engaging and academically challenging;
- actively engaging students in curriculum design;
Person Specification
- For Practitioner Psychologist applicants - a Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent qualification.
- For psychologist applicants – registration as a practitioner psychologist / clinical psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- For Clinical Psychologists with additional accreditations: CBT and Systemic and Family Therapy practitioner applicants should be fully accredited with the BABCP or AFT for CBT and systemic practice, respectively.
- Proven ability to devise, advise on and manage learning for self and others.
- Extensive skills and experience working in a clinical / applied area as a qualified Clinical Psychologist.
- High-level written communication skills.
- Skills and experience in research and / or research supervision.
- Demonstrated excellence in Learning and Teaching, and Management and administration.
