About the role
The Department of Political Science/School of Public Policy at UCL is seeking to fill a fixed term maternity leave cover position, Associate Lecturer (Teaching) in Politics of Economic Policy. The salary will be on ! the UCL G rade 7 scale, £38,308 - £46,155 (inclusive of London Allowance). This is a full-time fixed term appointment maternity cover/sabbatical cover/research leave cover commencing on 1st March 2023 to 31st Aug 2023. The Associate Lecturer (Teaching) will deliver lectures and seminars for the final four weeks of the below module, and first mark assessments for that module: POLS0041 Politics of Economic Policy in Post-Industrial Democracies (Lecture and Seminars on Mondays) https://www.ucl.ac.uk/module-catalogue/modules/public-sector-economics-POLS0081. About you
The successful candidate must have a PhD in Political Science, International Relations or related subject, current enrolment in a PhD programme in Political Science, International Relations or related subject, experienced in advising students on their essays and providing constructive feedback on written work. Evidence of high-quality academic research in a relevant field, teaching relevant subjects at the UG OR PGT level and quality assurance procedures associated with university teaching.
