We are investing in our academic provision and are seeking to appoint two Senior Lecturer’s on BA Fashion Marketing and join our team of experienced academic staff. We are looking for applications from academics with experience in delivering lecture-based modules within the field of fashion marketing theory, to include digital and traditional marketing, PR, brand marketing and communication and retail marketing.
Applications are also welcomed from successful practitioners with relevant teaching and coordination experience at this level. You will have successfully completed an MA and be able to evidence a good record of achievement in teaching in HE; a HEA teaching qualification is also desirable.
We are looking for inspiring, enthusiastic, and experienced academics to make a key contribution to the delivery of one of the largest programmes within the new Leeds School of Arts. Candidates will have a senior role in the delivery and development of our provision through teaching, research, and enterprise. Successful candidates will provide module leadership within relevant disciplines, and carry out course management responsibility, such as as a year leader or placement tutor, and contribute to the wider delivery and development of BA (Hons) Fashion Marketing.
Our Fashion Marketing course prepares students to enter the fashion industry in a wide range of positions, from visual communication and fashion writing through to marketing, with students taking optional modules at level 5 and 6 depending upon their chosen career path.
Through industry informed projects and collaborative provision, we equip our graduates with a diverse professional skill suitable to enter a broad range of careers in fashion with a strong understanding of the cultural, ethical, and environmental concerns of the contemporary fashion industry.
