About the Role
Genes & Health is large, long-term research programme, studying health and disease in British Bangladeshi and Pakistani people. We have an established track record of scientific discovery and impact (e.g. multiple recent publications in Nature, Cell, NEJM).
We are in an exciting period of growth, expanding our rich data resource and infrastructure. The postholder(s) will help us to develop and maintain a core health data infrastructure. You will work closely with clinicians and data users (academic and industry partners) and will join a large and supportive interdisciplinary team.
About You
You will bring advanced data skills and experience of working with complex, linked NHS clinical datasets. You will be a team player with an ability to innovate and troubleshoot.

The post is based at the Whitechapel Campus in London. It is 0.8-1.0 FTE, fixed term appointment for 4 years, with an expected start date of March 2023. The starting salary will be Grade 5, in the range of £39,815 - £50,853 per annum (pro-rata), inclusive of London Allowance.
