We are looking for an experienced and credible Customer Services Manager to join the Customer Services Operational Management Team within Libraries, Museums and Galleries.
Reporting to the Head of Customer Services you will manage a large team of Customer Services colleagues working across two sites, seven days a week. Working flexibly across two library sites, with some evening and weekend working, you will be the primary point of contact for the team and for liaison with Libraries, Museums and Galleries staff, Campus Services and contracted out of hours service provider.
You will have excellent organisational skills, proven people management and leadership experience, and the ability to consistently exercise independent judgment effectively.
You should have a degree or equivalent experience, and excellent IT skills including MS Office. You should be a self-motivated individual with a positive, adaptable approach and a commitment to delivering excellent customer care and service continuity. You should have relevant experience working as a senior member of a busy team, including working effectively with other managers with shared responsibility.
