Are you interested in being part of a programme to transform the University of Warwick’s web presence? The digital marketing team is looking for an enthusiastic and committed marketer with a passion for digital, and experience working on website redesigns.
You’ll have a genuine interest in user experience, SEO, analytics, and digital content creation, and will be passionate about helping others create successful digital journeys that meet their goals.
You will also be expected to be able to communicate with different audiences – digitally and face to face – and have a team player attitude that means you’re as comfortable advising on best practice as you are rolling up your sleeves and helping to reshape our digital output yourself.
On any given day you might be working with a department to create a new homepage, translating the latest student recruitment creative into engaging web copy, or helping a marketing colleague get the best out of Google Analytics.
This is a varied role for someone with great project management skills and the ability to prioritise. The landscape of digital is constantly shifting, so we’re looking for someone who’s not just comfortable with change, but positively loves it!
To be considered for this role, you’ll need to have demonstrable digital marketing experience.
A background in higher education – or an interest in HE – would be great, but it’s more important that you understand the importance of knowing your audience (whoever they are), and that you use insight and research to inform what you do.
In return, we offer a fantastic career opportunity to develop as a digital marketer, work across a broad and diverse spectrum of initiatives, and progress a career within one of the UK’s top universities.
For informal enquiries, please contact Christopher Hicks by email at christopher.hicks@warwick.ac.uk.
Interview Date: w/c 20 February 2023.
